Pretty and French, a late 19th Century Rosewood Lady's writing Bureau. Cleaned up very late last week Late April 2020. It is a darling, curved carved Louis XV legs, simple yet elegant scrolls and roccoco style motifs across the front panels, top surface and legs. Lovely interior, shelf space, three small stationery drawers, and a slide for hiding more paper, love letters... Fold down writing slope has some original weft remnants of crimson velvet, little nap left). Structurally sound, no obvious historical injuries, and no borer. Burnished Auburn in colour. Circa 1890.
