Pair of English Parlour Chairs
A pair of English Parlour Chairs. Circa 1890, this is a beautiful pair of painted, inlaid fret work chairs. Stylised backs of a Peacock tail fan design with empire inlaid patterns. Small chips of inlay missing: 15mm motif on one leg of one chair, and two 15mm missing inlay pieces on back fret work. These would be keeping in with the age of these chairs. Structurally sound, and upholstery has been changed, probably mid 20th. Upholstery intact.
n.b. Price is for the pair, these are not being sold individually.
